The past three years presented ML Industries, Inc. (MLI) the greatest challenges ever faced during its 36-year history of operations.  From the height of the COVID 19 pandemic of 2020, to the microchip shortages in 2021 and 2022, MLI has proven, once again, that we are survivors.  After being hard hit in 2020 at our Mexican facilities with the pandemic and the Mexican government’s mandatory 13-week closure of all non-essential manufacturing, MLI reacted by teaming with a major automotive safety supplier to manufacture Level I surgical gowns for front-line medical professionals.  In fact, MLI supplied over 1,000,000 Level I gowns during the height of the COVID pandemic.  MLI’s primary focus is saving lives, and, we are doing a very good job of it.

ML Industries continues to evolve, and, in 2022, MLI partnered with one of the premier, publicly-traded automotive interior companies in the world, TS Tech North America, creating an incredible joint venture.  This was TS Tech’s first joint venture in North America.   As I stated in a 2022 press release, and still firmly believe today, it is the ultimate compliment to have a long-term customer invite you into a business partnership.  The two companies have much to offer each other, complementary strengths that make an amazing partnership.  We anticipate double-digit growth over the next several years from this new venture.

Today, there are over 750 million vehicles on the road equipped with at least one MLI product.  This feat could have never been achieved without the hard work, attention to details, and dedication of our Associates.  Our Associates rank second-to-none, and, they know it.  Our Mission Statement remains the same: “To improve the standard of living for each and every Associate and to grow our business with world class customers, while maintaining a bias for exceptional quality, on-time delivery, and overall customer satisfaction.”

In summary, I am very excited about 2026 and the opportunities it will present to MLI.  As we adjust and navigate the twists and turns of the automotive manufacturing business, we will continue to perform with world-class results for our world-class customers.  Please join us on this exciting journey!
